FedEx Canada Holiday Card 2013
FedEx Canada was looking to send out a holiday "thank you" card to their valuable customers. The basic format had pretty much been established in previous years, but they were looking for a fresh and fun new idea. The season's greetings would be delivered via both email and direct mail. What follows is the digital version which stemmed from my tweaking the lyrics to a holiday classic.

FedEx Canada Freight Print Ad
The client came to us wanting to create a variety of elements that could deliver their claim to having the fastest travel times across the border from Canada to the U.S. We provided a variety of concepts that played off the idea of speed in a way that was took things beyond some of the traditional FedEx imagery which was used in the past. The dragstrip visual with prominent "christmas tree" light visual in foreground was chosen. In addition to the trade print ad, we translated this look across a direct mail postcard, as well as static and animated web banners.
FedEx Canada Ship Manager Lite Animated Banner
Having appreciated our take on breaking beyond some of the standard brand imagery, while still staying within lines on style and tone, Canada came back to us again looking for a clutter-busting banner that could convey the ease of use of their online shipping tool. This concept literally went to the dogs, although and "easy peasy" idea was a close second. Below is the sequence from the animated banner that can still be found in circulation on fedex.ca.
FedEx Canada First Overnight Banner
Another banner assignment to tout the advantages of an early morning shipping service. Below is the that stuck, as well as a deck filled with the other ideas that were thrown out there.

It was time again to send out a "thank you" to FedEx Canada's many valued customers. With the timing being beyond the holiday season, the door was open to a wider variety of concepts and ideas. For this we looked to create a little more interactivity for the recipient than simply "pushing play" on an eCard. While we did take into account seasonality, we decided to look more toward things that were trending at the time. The digital take on "personality quizzes" was starting to be all the "buzz" at the time. So we developed our own version that played to the FedEx small business customer we were speaking to. The email is below and the PDF contains the full quiz with all the questions and the possible results.

My FedEx Rewards Loyalty Program
Worked on a wide range of deliverables for the FedEx loyalty program My FedEx Rewards. Everything from monthly offer emails and direct mail pieces to main website content. Including the revamp and launch of their new website and program which included web content, video tutorial, email and direct mail communications to previous, new and hopefully soon to be acquired customers. Here is a smattering of that work, which is really just the tip of the iceberg.

FedEx Updates Emails
Updates is a monthly newsletter delivered to FedEx customers, in particular small businesses, through a variety of data-driven segments. The newsletter highlights timely, relevant, nurturing articles and promotions that are of interest to the growth and development of small businesses. Updates email's main goal is to drive recipients to the FedEx Small Business Center, which serves as a resource for all of the articles, present and past. Our job was to craft compelling emails with enticing subject lines, pre-headers, main images, intro copy and cta that would intrigue the reader to click through to the site and read the full article. This was all with the ultimate goal of getting small businesses to think of FedEx for not only their shipping needs, but for support beyond that as well.
Below are the headers for a few issues, as well as a PDF of a full build which shows all the content blocks we create on a monthly basis. The content blocks are pieced together accordingly to create the emails specific to each individual targeted segment.
